Who can take part in our study?

MN National Guard and Reserve families (and veterans) who have had at least one deployment since September 11, 2001 and have children between the ages of 5-12 years old. (Some 4 year olds may also be eligible.) Participation is voluntary and confidential.

What is the time commitment?

Families will participate in four interviews over a two-year period of time. Some, but not all, families will be invited to attend a 14-week parenting program.

Are participants compensated?

Yes, your family will be paid $400 to $635 over the course of the study. Childcare is available to participating families.
