We have collected a list of online resources that can be helpful for families. We will be adding to this list, and if you have an additional resource that might be helpful, please let us know.
ADAPT Monthly Newsletter
Our archive of monthy newsletters are a great resource for parents with all ages of children. Every topic has four newsletters, each one targeted at a particular age group.
Online Resources
- Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) provides educational opportunities for children connected with the military who are affected by mobility, family separation, and transition
- MN Child Care Resrouce and Referral Network: Give Army Parents a Break provides military families with 16 hours of free child care each month if the requirements are met.
- Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Organization provides resources for families throughout the deployment cycle.
- Operation Military Kids provides outreach and education for communities and schools, as well as many other resources for kids and families.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Resources
- Asperger's Syndrome information, with lists of symptoms of Asperger's, as well as an overview of the syndrome, assessments, and treatment resources.
- The Autism Society of Minnesota provides information about participation in free AuSM support groups for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families.
- The Minnesota Autism School has a one-year program which serves students ages 2 to 21 who are affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It provides home, school, and center-based behavioral and academic services, and aims to meet the individual needs of each child or youth and their families. This site has many useful resources, including how to apply, sibling support groups, and parent information groups.
- The Fraser Autism Program provides evaluation and treatment services for infants through young adults with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
