Welcome to the College of Education and Human Development and to the Department of Family Social Science. Our Department admits students both fall and spring semesters.
Freshmen who wish to apply to the Department of Family Social Science should refer to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Freshmen Admissions Website for admission requirements and application information. Freshmen who are admitted must attend an orientation session offered by the College of Education and Human Development prior to registering for classes.
Students who transfer from outside of the University of Minnesota should refer to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Transfer Admissions Website for admission requirements and application information.
