Department of Family Social Science

Undergraduate Students

Welcome to the family social science undergraduate program. This multidisciplinary major is a great match for students interested in helping people, developing counseling skills, and understanding human relationships across the lifespan.

After completing extensive coursework in family social science and a rigorous internship, our graduates are well-prepared to work with families in professional environments. Many continue their educations through graduate study in family science or related family programs such as marriage and family therapy or social work.

Our students follow career paths that take them all over the world but they are all committed to one vision: a better future.
