Join us

WPLC, a collaborative community of leaders and philanthropists, works to enhance the lives of women. Join us in maximizing scholarship opportunities and celebrating the power of collective giving. Together, we can make a difference and foster a permanent legacy.

Women join WPLC at one of several tiered levels starting at $600 per year. Members meet several times each year to build relationships and to learn more about personal finance and philanthropy. Past WPLC workshops and seminars have touched on strategies for aging with vitality, differences in how men and women make financial decisions, and personal stories from women leaders on the “frontlines” of education and human development.

As a Circle member, you'll be able to:

  • Collaborate with a community of women in making a difference for other women.
  • Participate in educational programs.
  • Create a living and permanent legacy.
  • Celebrate the impact of your philanthropy with others.
  • Gifts are tax-deductible and can be made with check, credit card, electronic fund transfer (EFT), University of Minnesota payroll deduction, or through the transfer of appreciated securities. Contributions of any amount are welcome.

I-Ling Yeh
I have been struggling to identify with a role model in research and higher education partly due to the lack of female role models. I would like to mentor the next-generation clinicians and researchers as a woman.
