Predoctoral Fellowship
The Center for Neurobehavioral Development awarded annual fellowships
to University of Minnesota graduate students exhibiting excellent work in
the field. The goal of the fellowship is to foster further scientific
interaction among researchers in the CNBD.
Note: The CNBD is currently not accepting applications for
Predoctoral Fellowships.
2008-2009 Awardees:
Julia Cohen, M.A., Institute of Child Development
Julia’s research will examine the interactions between emotions and cognitive control during adolescence and early adulthood. Particularly, she is interested in how brain development during adolescence might make teens more easily disrupted by emotional distraction.
