Welcome to the Lab School!

Welcome to the Shirley G. Moore Laboratory School website. We are very proud of our school and invite you to explore our entire website. The Lab School has been serving the Minneapolis and St. Paul communities since 1925 and we now have families with a third generation enrolled in our program. That is customer satisfaction! We believe that the Lab School offers something uncommon in the world of early childhood education: a program that focuses on fostering the individual uniqueness of each child as well as the benefits that come from being part of a community of learners; a program that focuses on fostering each child’s creative spirit as well as their cognitive and intellectual development; and a program that is bubbling with enthusiastic teacher candidates, offering the children their own excitement for learning and creative approach to "learning how to teach."
