I am a fourth year graduate student at the Institute of Child Development. I am interested in the development of infant visual perception and the development of face perception among other things. I am originally from Elk River, MN but received my undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead near Fargo, ND. I enjoy running, as well as other active things. I spend my free time with my wonderful husband Jeff.

I am an undergraduate senior majoring in Child Psychology. This will be my third year working in the Yonas lab. I have fallen in love with the world of research and hope to attend graduate school next fall and pursue a PhD in developmental psychology. My hometown is Jamestown, North Dakota but I have loved living in and exploring the Minneapolis area the past several years. My other activities include running, practicing yoga, leading children's ministry at my church, and traveling whenever I get the chance.

Saludos! I have been involved with the Visual Perception Lab since Fall 2009 and am a fourth year undergraduate. While I love being able to work with infants and children and am fascinated by the research we do here, my academic interests are in Sociology and Spanish. I am also a Violence Prevention Educator at the Aurora Center on campus and give classroom presentations to my peers about issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. When not working, in class, or spending time with friends, I practice yoga and am currently participating in a teacher apprenticeship program. When I graduate, I hope to spend time travelling and participating in international social justice projects.

This is my first year in the Yonas lab and I am excited to begin working on a few different projects throughout the year. I am from Plymouth, Minnesota where I spend most of my time playing tennis, snowboarding, sailing or volunteering at different locations. I have been working with children who have Autism for 8 years now, and I am currently a Lead Behavioral Therapist at the Minnesota Autism Center. Outside of school and work, my passion is for percussion. I currently teach drumline at Forest Lake High School and Eden Prairie High School. I am the Secretary of the Board for the Minnesota Percussion Association. I am excited to contribute to the work done here in the Institute of Child Development. What a fantastic way to spend my senior year!

大家好!I am a senior major in psychology, and had another degree in literature. I am interested in health related area and clinical psychology. I had an internship in Fairview Hospice, and volunteered in special education in China since I graduated from high school. Working with children and seeing their development is such a pleasure to me. I originally came from Xiamen, a Southeastern island China. I love the lakes and its wonderful sceneries in fall. Since I came to U of M, fencing foil is my favorite thing to do in casual time. Foil is the greatest sport I have ever tried!

I am a senior majoring in a Child Psychology B.A. and also taking the pre-requisite classes for Optometry school. I moved up here from Cedar Rapids, IA my freshman year and have lived here ever since. I would LOVE to someday open my own children's eye clinic either in one of Minneapolis's surrounding suburbs (I'm obsessed with the lakes!) or Chicago. This is my second semester working in the Yonas Lab, and have learned so much about the research aspect of child psychology, as well as met some pretty awesome people! I'm also involved in the OneSight Foundation which helps spread the gift of sight around the world in case that sounds interesting to any of you out there!

After graduation, I will hopefully be attending graduate school for either a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology. In my free time I love to be outside, exploring the city, spending time with family, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
