    AEI is part of the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). AEI uniquely integrates the development of international government relations with support for the commercial activities of Australia’s education community. To do this, AEI liaises with all sectors of the education and training industry and all levels of government. Australian Education International (AEI) offers the following products and services in this section:

  • International Archive of Education Data (IAED)
    The International Archive of Education Data (IAED) is a project sponsored by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the United States and other nations. Data files, documentation, and reports are downloadable from the website in public-use format.
  • International Bureau of Education (IBE) – UNESCO
    The IBE, which is an international centre for the content of education, was founded in Geneva in 1925 as a private institution. In 1929, it extended its membership to governments thus became the first intergovernmental organization in the field of education. In 1969, the IBE joined UNESCO as an integral, yet autonomous, The IBE databanks include the following six databases.

    The OECD groups 30 member countries sharing a commitment to democratic government and the market economy. With active relationships with some 70 other countries, NGOs and civil society, it has a global reach. Best known for its publications and its statistics, its work covers economic and social issues from macroeconomics, to trade, education, development and science and innovation.

  • World Data on Education
    Promoting education is central to the Bank’s mission of poverty reduction. The World Bank has been helping advance education in developing countries since 1963 and remains today the world’s single largest provider of external funding for education.
