Catherine Close

Catherine CloseI am a doctoral student in Educational Psychology with a focus on quantitative methods in education (QME). I have worked on research projects focusing on college readiness/awareness, examining factor structures of intelligence tests, measuring the average speed of numerical reasoning etc. My current interest is in exploring cognitive skills and their role in testing.

Prior to coming to the University of Minnesota, I completed a master’s degree in Education at Hamline University.
