Jeremy Wang

Jeremy WangJeremy Wang is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology in the Learning and Cognition track. His research interests revolve around K-12 science education, with emphasis in cognitive aspects of scientific reasoning and learning of complex science concepts, as well as evaluation and improvement of science education programs.

Jeremy graduated with a BA from Rice University in Biology and Philosophy, and taught middle school science for two years in Brooklyn, New York through the Teach For America program. While teaching, he earned a MS in Teaching from Pace University. He worked as a Science Content Specialist in Test Development at the College Board, developing science assessment items, redesigning Advanced Placement science courses, and writing college readiness science educational standards for grades 6-12.
