Peter Wruck
Peter Wruck is a native of Minnesota. He attended the St. Paul and South Washington County public schools as a child and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and African-American and African studies here at the University of Minnesota.
He is now pursuing a Ph.D. in sociology with a graduate minor in Education Sciences. Peter taught public speaking and theatre at a large public high school in the area for two years, and has also been a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Sociology for a year.
His research interests include educational inequality with a specific interest in race, and how these inequalities affect outcomes for students. He currently has one paper under review and is a Research Assistant on another project for Department of Sociology Professor Rob Warren.
