Call for Special Issues and Cluster Proposals
The National Women’s Studies Association Journal invites
proposals from scholars, practitioners, and activists who would like to
edit a special issue or cluster for the NWSAJ. Through special
issues and clusters, we continue NWSAJ’s tradition of focusing
in an interdisciplinary way on topics that are critical to the
understanding of women’s lives.
In order to promote exploration of various aspects of women’s lives,
we welcome proposals in any area if they explicitly foreground the
diversity of women’s experiences. For example, topics may include those
related to race, ethnicity, generation/age, class, sexual orientation,
national/international identification, and ability, as well as family
membership, professional and community engagement, access to social
services, globalization, and participation in political spheres.
