How to Apply to Ph.D., Ed.D. and M.A. Graduate Degree Programs
Thank you for your interest in our graduate programs. All materials are submitted electronically through the ApplyYourself application system. Admission decisions are communicated to applicants using this system.
Graduate School Application
New Applicants
Ph.D., Ed.D. and M.A. applications are processed by the Graduate School via the ApplyYourself (AY) online application.
A decision for admission notice will be emailed to you once your application is carefully reviewed by the department's admission committee and your transcripts and any credentials (test reports, diploma copies, etc.) are authenticated by Graduate School officials.

Readmission to Graduate School Programs
If a graduate student in an OLPD program has become inactive they must follow the readmission procedures.

Graduate School Application Materials
Your application is not complete until ALL required materials and fees have been received. If anything is missing, your application will not be considered until the next review date, which may be the following year. It is strongly recommended to apply at least two weeks before any submission deadlines.

For EdPA degrees Two letters of recommendation required. Acceptable recommendations will come from current or former professors who can assess your potential for graduate work. Other recommenders, such as employers, are also acceptable. Note: Paper copies are not accepted - upload via the ApplyYourself online application using the "Recommendation Section" or under the "Program Supplementary Information" section as "upload 2". |
For WHRE degrees When completing Statement #1, state how the chosen degree and specialization support the applicant’s professional goals. Note: Paper copies are not accepted – upload via the ApplyYourself online application using “Applicant Statements”. |
