Comparative and International Development Education (CIDE) Program Track: Graduate Minor in International Education

Overview

The graduate minor in international education is a coordinated set of courses designed for students who wish to enter careers in research, consulting, administration, teaching, law, public health, public policy, or many other fields and who desire an international education foundation to supplement their graduate majors or professional fields of study. Courses include readings, discussions, and assignments designed to develop the skills essential to professionals intending to work or teach abroad or who will work in the U.S. in an international context.

Any student admitted to a Graduate School program (e.g., M.A., M.Ed., M.S., Ed.D., Ph.D., S.C., M.S.W.) at the University of Minnesota, regardless of college or enrollment, is encouraged to apply for this minor.
