WHRE Ed.D.: Human Resource Development (HRD) Specialization
Overview
The doctor of education (Ed.D.) degree in work and human resource development with a specialization in human resource development (HRD) is administered by the Graduate School and offered by the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD).
The human resource development specialization at the University of Minnesota prepares leaders and scholars of formal and informal education for adults in the workplace, family and community. To that end, HRD is integrated with the adult education (AdEd) program, also a specialized academic area within the department. Combined, the two specializations offer students of human resource development who are interested in the adult education field of practice an opportunity to integrate learning from both specializations.
What will my program look like?
The Ed.D. requires 60 course credits and 24 thesis credits.
