WHRE Ph.D.: Comprehensive Work and Human Resource Education (WHRE) Specialization
Overview
The doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in work and human resource education with a specialization in comprehensive work and human resource education (WHRE) is administered by the Graduate School and offered by the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD).
Who enrolls in this program?
Students whose focus is research expertise and specialization content
may apply for the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in work and human
resource education with a specialization in comprehensive WHRE. Students combine study and related experiences to develop, apply,
analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the practices and problems of education
within these contexts; to asses the social, technological, cultural, and
psychological issues of this field; and to contribute to the research in the
field. The degree work is designed by the student and his or her adviser.
What will my program look like?
The Ph.D. requires 60 course credits and 24 thesis credits.
