Table of contents
Clinical experiences (practicum and student teaching) are a key component in teacher preparation at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Our initial licensure programs all require year-long, developmental, clinical experiences as candidates grow in their knowledge and skills.
Below you will find links to the state standards, our performance assessments, a faculty and staff directory, student teaching policies, and student teaching responsibilities.
Our conceptual framework.
We offer more than 20 licensure programs at the University of Minnesota. These programs are supported by program coordinators and student teaching placement coordinators in five departments across our two campuses. Locate faculty and staff involved in clinical experiences.
