Thomas Brothen has a B.A. in psychology (minor in political science) and a Ph.D. in psychology (specialization in social psychology, supporting program in statistics and measurement).

Professor Brothen teaches psychology courses using computers and the personalized system of instruction. His research interests include computer-assisted instructional methods and student self-regulation of learning.
