Barbara Hodne
Senior Teaching Specialist

Barbara Hodne teaches literature and writing courses in General College. All of Barbara’s schooling after sixth grade was completed at the University of Minnesota: high school diploma from University High School (which closed in 1968, just after she graduated); B.A. in English; M.A. in teaching English as a second language; and Ph.D. in English with emphasis in American literature.

At home, she spends time gardening, learning new athletic skills from her grandsons, and pondering how best to teach her favorite stories.
