The Center for Reading Research is located in the Vocational Technical Education Building on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. It is easily accessible from all directions, and there is ample parking in the adjacent Gortner Avenue Ramp. Directions and parking suggestions are as follows:
From the north and south: Exit from 35W at Cleveland Avenue and drive south on Cleveland to the St. Paul campus. Turn left onto Buford Avenue. The Vocational Technical Education Building is at 1954 Buford Ave., a few blocks down on the right.
From the east: Follow I-94 toward Minneapolis to Highway 280 (north exit only). Take Highway 280 to the East Hennepin/Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right onto Larpenteur and then right onto Cleveland Avenue. Turn left onto Buford Avenue. The Vocational Technical Education Building is at 1954 Buford Ave., a few blocks down on the right.
From the west: Follow I-94 toward St. Paul to Highway 280 (north exit only). From Highway 280, take the East Hennepin/Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right onto Larpenteur and right onto Cleveland Avenue. Turn left onto Buford Avenue. The Vocational Technical Education Building is at 1954 Buford Ave., a few blocks down on the right.
Hourly & disability parking is available in the Gortner Parking Ramp by following Buford Avenue to the second stop sign, and taking a right onto Gortner Avenue. The ramp will be on right. Daily rate parking is available in Lot S104 ($5.25/day) and S108 ($3.50/day) lot by taking Buford Avenue past the Vo-Tech Ed Building about one block. Lot S101 is on the corner of Cleveland and Commonwealth Ave also for $3.75/day.
