Current Research
- HIV and Disability in Namibia. I will be working in Namibia through a Fulbright during 2008 with community based agencies in researching models for HIV prevention for people with disabilities
- Child Welfare and Disabilities. This is an ongoing project examining the intersections of child welfare and disability. I am currently focusing on examining prevalence data of kids with disabilities in child welfare, the efficacy of transition programs and experiences of youth with disabilities, and parents with disabilities involved in child welfare.
- Web 2.0 and Community Organizing. I am studying how international organizations use newer technologies for advocacy.
