Module Four
Moving Along: Implementation So Far!
How are we functioning as a child welfare system right now?
How might we strive to function as a child welfare system?
What’s needed is synergy and an integrated system.
Synergy
“1. The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects. 2. Cooperative interaction among groups, especially among the acquired subsidiaries or merged parts of a corporation, that creates an enhanced combined effect.”1
AND
an Integrated System
“A single system which contains enough tools to complete a whole area of operation.”2
As stated by Dr. Carl Bell,
“This is a leadership, government, policy issue!”3
