The graduate student commencement ceremony for CEHD, which includes students in the Youth Development Leadership program is held each year in May. Details about participating in this ceremony are available through the college.
School of Social Work Recognition Ceremony for Ph.D. and M.S.W. Students
In addition to college commencement, the School of Social Work holds its own recognition ceremony for Ph.D. and M.S.W. graduates at Ted Mann Concert Hall on the West Bank of the Minneapolis campus. Though this is not the official University commencement event, degree candidates are presented, and most students choose to wear caps, gowns, and degree hoods. A reception follows the ceremony, and there is no limit to the number of guests students may invite.
