Graduating and degree clearance
Clearing your degree for graduation should be done at least one full month before completion of final coursework. Degrees are cleared to graduate on a monthly basis. To allow for sufficient time for processing, students are encouraged to submit their form for graduation three months before the desired degree completion date. Please follow these steps:
- Complete all program requirements.
- Complete and submit the program degree completion packet. The degree completion packet must be completed on or before the first day of the month that the student intends to graduate. Please refer to the timeline in the packet for deadlines. Students who submit forms to Student Services after the first day of the month will be cleared to graduate at the end of the following month.
