Supervision has always been important in social work practice, and supervisors are one of the most important elements in assuring delivery of effective, competent, and accountable services.  The Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare and the School of Social Work are involved in offering training, education, consultation and evaluation in the educational, supportive, and administrative aspects important in social work supervision.
