- Undergraduate (B.S. degrees)
- Professional school (M.Ed. degrees and most non-degree seeking students)
- Graduate School (M.A., Ph.D., M.S.W., Ed.D. degrees and specialist certificates)
Certificate programs
Certificate tuition varies, depending on a student’s degree program, student status, and residency:
- Students seeking the certificate only pay the professional school tuition rate.
- Students enrolled in certificate and undergraduate programs pay undergraduate tuition rates.
- Students enrolled in certificate and master of education (M.Ed.) programs pay the professional school tuition rate.
- Students enrolled in certificate and Graduate School programs (e.g., M.A., M.S.W., Ph.D., Ed.D.) pay Graduate School tuition rates.
Tuition and fees policy for non-degree seeking students
Non-degree seeking students are required to pay all tuition and fees by the first billing due date. Those non-degree students who do not pay will be canceled from their courses.
University staff members who receive tuition exemptions, senior citizens, multi-University students, Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) and College in the School students are exempt from this policy. Note: Beginning spring term 2007, University students/authorized payers may choose to pay the balance due in their University student accounts with MasterCard, DISCOVER, or American Express credit cards (VISA is not a participant). See UM Pay for details.
