New Department of
Organizational Leadership,
Policy and Development
Effective July 1, 2009, a new
department has been created that
integrates the business and
marketing education, human
resource development and adult
education, and comprehensive
WHRE programs from the
Department of
Work and Human Resource
Education (WHRE) into the
department formerly known as
Educational Policy and
Administration (EdPA). The
name of this new department is
Organizational Leadership,
Policy and Development (OLPD).
It will offer exciting
opportunities for collaboration
and interdisciplinary education

University of Minnesota Human Resource Development
Organization (UMHRDO)
The University of Minnesota Human Resource Development
Organization (UMHRDO) is a student run organization through the
Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development
(formerly WHRE). The purpose
of this organization is to advance the field of human resource
development (HRD) through research, professional studies, and
other educational endeavors. We strive to create an atmosphere
that provides closer relationships among its members, the
University, and the business world. Lastly, we present current
information about HRD issues through speakers and other various
presentations.
Membership is available to all HRD/AdEd students and
anyone who is interested.
Membership
A UMHRDO membership is $10.00 per academic year. Please print
a copy of the membership form, fill it out and return it with
your payment to 330 Wulling Hall.
