Grants and Research
CRDEUL pursues grants for research, dissemination, and demonstration projects through internal and external institutional collaborations. The Center also hosts active grant projects supporting the improvement of classroom instruction in postsecondary education, the collection of research data, and national and international dissemination.

During spring 2005 the Center for Research on Developmental Education and Urban Literacy (CRDEUL), the General College (GC), and the University's Disability Services (DS) office collaborated on a proposal to the U.S. Department of Education for “Pedagogy and Student Services for Institutional Transformation (PASS IT): Implementing Universal Design by Training Professionals to Train Others.” Read more about PASS IT.
Curriculum Transformation and Disability (CTAD), a collaboration of the University of Minnesota's General College and Disability Services, was designed to help postsecondary faculty make their classes more accessible to all students, including students with disabilities.
