Graduates of this program are prepared for the MEd and teaching license in elementary education program. Gain experience in schools with three on-site practicums and take advantage of study abroad programs while gaining teaching experience.
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Foundations
DirecTrack to Teaching is a non-degree program for undergraduates interested in exploring teaching as a profession. Students have the opportunity to work in the schools, understand school culture, and gain an understanding of issues in education while preparing for a career in teaching. You will gain content experience in your chosen major and get preferred admissions into the graduate MEd and initial teaching license program.

The Learning Technologies minor is offered completely online to fit with your schedule. You will develop expertise in using digital media and online technologies to become a digitally savvy leader in your field.
Racial Justice in Urban Schooling minor
The Racial Justice in Urban Schooling minor is designed for students interested in the intersections of race, social class, language status, gender or sexual orientation, and how those impact educational equity and social justice.
(TESL) Teach English as a Second Language minor and certificate
The undergraduate minor and certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) will prepare you to teach English at home or abroad in community ESL programs, as well as for graduate study in TESL.
