Biography

I am in the final stage of my doctoral candidacy and I am currently working on my dissertation. My current research is specifically concerned with the presence, or lack thereof, of corporate social responsibility in the platform economy (i.e. gig, sharing, &/or access economy). My preferred methodology aligns with mixed or multi-method approaches that employ quantitative and qualitative methods for understanding complex issues.

As a graduate researcher, I have worked on various projects across several departments at the University of Minnesota. Most recently, I served as a graduate researcher for an ongoing project funded by MnDOT to uncover and potentially address key factors that may be contributing to the current transportation workforce shortage. I also provide HRD related consulting to entrepreneurs and small start-ups in various industries.
