Diversity social work advancement program

Diversity social work advancement program (DSWAP) trains racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse MSW students to become mental health professionals. The goals of DSWAP are to increase the number of mental health professionals who identify as people of color, immigrants, refugees, and/or LGBTQ and to increase the availability, accessibility, and effectiveness of trauma-informed treatment for culturally diverse clients.

This is a one-time award of $2,500, paid on a monthly basis ($277.00/month) from the State of Minnesota.
