Trans/Non-Binary Education Panel Friday, January 25, 2019 | 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Four trans/non-binary educators will share their varied experiences. Each person will give an introduction including a brief history of their paths to their current work. There will then be a question and answer session with audience participation. Included on the panel are:

El Warnest: a current K-12 educator working with deaf/hard of hearing students

Clark Hoelscher: a former secondary teacher who is currently a K12 director of a gender and sexualities center in a large public school district.

Qui Alexander: PhD student with experience with at-risk youth education programs

Kyle Whipple: assistant professor in education at UW-Eau Claire and former secondary teacher 

Each of these panel members has a unique perspective on the educational system and is currently playing a unique role within that system.
