Whether in the field of human resources or as a community volunteer, Emily H. Nguyen has shown a passion for helping others. My experience at CEHD was great. It started my involvement with nonprofits and volunteer opportunities. I always wanted to study a field that would be able help people. Majoring in Family Social Science did just that. I really enjoyed taking Cynthia Meyer's courses and learning counseling skills helped improve my communication, listening, and coaching abilities.
