Working in HR, I encounter something new every day. I enjoy this about my job and the challenges it brings.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to sell ice cream, because then I could eat ice cream everyday. I also wanted to be a nurse or a doctor, because I wanted to help people.

What is a good book you would recommend to others?

Outside of your job, how do you grow professionally?

I like to volunteer. This allows me to meet others and grow my network.

What was the impact and benefit of your experience in CEHD?

My experience at CEHD was great. It started my involvement with nonprofits and volunteer opportunities. I always wanted to study a field that would be able help people. Majoring in Family Social Science did just that. I really enjoyed taking Cynthia Meyer's courses and learning counseling skills helped improve my communication, listening, and coaching abilities.
