Staff positions

Observation Manager

We seek an individual with extensive experience working in childcare programming, data collection, and child and program assessment tools. This individual will serve as an observation manager for a project in early childcare settings across Minnesota. The person in this position will work closely with others designing, implementing, and analyzing the observation work on this project.

Research Coordinator

We seek an individual with prior experience working with child or adolescent populations and with participant recruitment, as well as behavioral/clinical research experience. This project is a collaboration between the Institute of Child Development and the University of Chicago’s Center for the Economics of Human Development together with Educational Testing Service and the University of Bonn. The project aims to measure and model a combination of personality traits, executive function skills, and economic preferences to predict student achievement and interest in STEM fields.

Lecturer–Sport Management

We seek an individual committed to excellence in teaching and learning whose skills and knowledge can complement current program offerings in undergraduate and graduate programs. Priority will be given to those who can teach in the following areas: introductory courses in sport management, sport business, sports events and facilities and/or sport marketing. The individual in this position will teach the equivalent of 6 courses per academic year (3 each fall and spring semesters). This is a non-tenure track position.

Program Administrator–Coaching HER/Tucker Center

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to lead the Body Confident Sport (BCS) program, a global initiative housed within the Coaching HER® platform. BCS is a set of digital tools designed to help coaches create body-confident environments that empower girls in sport. The individual in this position will play a key leadership role in managing the BCS partnership, BCS program, and BCS product/platform to advance BCS’s global reach and measuring the impact by aligning user needs, partner priorities, and organizational goals. This role requires a high level of interdisciplinary collaboration across corporate partners, national and international sport organizations, academic institutions, and grassroots sport communities.

Lecturer in Comparative International Development Education (CIDE)

The Comparative and International Development Education (CIDE) program is known for its critical and engaged approach to global education, drawing together diverse perspectives on policy, practice, and theory. We seek an experienced, equity-focused educator and academic leader to coordinate, teach, and co-advise in the Leadership in International and Intercultural Education (LIIE) PhD program, a flexible doctoral program developed for working professionals. This is a non-tenure track position.
