This online program will develop your skills to design, deliver, and evaluate family-focused programs for adult learners. This program track leads directly to Minnesota teacher licensure in parent and family education.

Teaches students how to plan, coordinate, and teach parent education programs and services that address the intellectual, emotional, cultural, social, and physical needs of parents and children. This program does not lead to a MN teaching license.

 

This PhD minor will equip you to identify how best to promote the well-being of diverse families and communities through a multi-disciplinary comprehensive approach. You will be able to choose a specifc area of concentration within this minor.
